The Fred Easyport Plus was introduced to the market at the end of 2023 as a replacement for the Fred Easyport. This Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is very compact (143 mm x 150 mm x 46 mm) and lightweight (870 grams), making it an excellent fit for our M9 Assault Medic backpack or any other medical bag used by emergency responders. This AED meets all the requirements of a modern AED.
With clear voice instructions and a small color LCD screen, the instructions are supported visually. During analysis, data such as an ECG display is also shown for professional caregivers. The operation is similar to most AEDs: START-ANALYZE-SHOCK.
For a pediatric victim, resuscitation can be performed using the 15:2 resuscitation protocol with pediatric electrodes. The Schiller Fred Easyport Plus then automatically switches to a lower energy output and adjusts instructions according to this protocol. If you do not have pediatric electrodes available, you can also use adult electrodes and press the baby/child button. The Schiller Fred Easyport Plus AED will then adjust itself to the specific requirements of the victim.
